2 Years During Covid in Africa — Part Two

Yes, I do realize that Turkey is not in Africa.

But I can’t very well tell this whole story without, well, telling the whole story. Do you know what I mean?

When we finally decided that we wanted to leave Morocco, our options were very limited.

Flights to Europe were still few and far between, and we had already gone through the joys of booking one, only to have it be canceled a few days later.

After a bit of research, we learned that Turkey had no virus restrictions at all and we didn’t even need a PCR test. It was looking like Istanbul was our best bet. We figured that, if nothing else, it was a good hub city, and from there we could fly almost anywhere. Anywhere that was open, that is.
