2 Years During Covid in Africa — Part 3

Even though we loved Istanbul immensely, it was just getting too cold for us to enjoy it. Since leaving Canada in 2017, we have become accustomed to the warm, and well, we don’t like cold anymore.
Our time was up at the Marriott as the points were running out, so we decided to find a point to the south of us where we could get back to warm weather.
Many that had been staying at the hostel where we were painting murals had talked of going to Egypt, and many had already been there. Like Turkey was when we arrived, there were few covid restrictions (Turkey now had a curfew in place). Our only requirement was a PCR test which we learned that we could get at the airport.
