We got burnt out.

We should have known that it was coming.

It disguised itself as annoyance at first.

Annoyance, frustration, a feeling like everything is difficult.

Then one day there was the breaking point. A breaking point that clearly needed to happen.

It needed to happen so that we would have a reason to move on.

We weren’t happy, we weren’t enjoying ourselves, and we felt like we had no purpose for being where we were.

We had to leave.

But why was it so hard to make that decision? Why did we have to hit a breaking point before we finally did it?

This lifestyle is not easy. I have mentioned that before. While the rewards still outweigh the difficulties, there is no denying that it is just that.

Difficult

We will have been full-time traveling and on the road for 5 whole years in October.

While it is a milestone that I am excited about, I can also see that it has been a long time without stability.
