I have to say, I really LOVE Medium! The refreshing vibe, the mature discourse, the lack of DRAMA! It’s a dream compared to other social media sites, and I am so happy to be here.

But lately, I have been noticing that I get a few followers, then a few fall off again.

Who is doing this?

If you have come here from Instagram or Facebook and you think that this is the same platform, then you are sadly mistaken!

Medium is a space of support. Where we lift each other up, read each others’ articles, and don’t pretend that we are on board, when we are not!

This is not a place to be fake, it is a place to be authentic. If you don’t think you will be interested in somebody’s writing, don’t follow them, to begin with!

Don’t just follow them, so that they will follow you so that you can then proceed to unfollow them.

THIS IS CHILDISH BEHAVIOUR!

I don’t want to insult any specific age group, but I have my suspicions of who is doing this.

Please, please, PLEASE don’t treat this platform as a cheap date. If you want to behave that way, just pack up…
