For one reason or another I have never had the desire to visit Paris either. Nothing about it appeals to me, honestly. But I'm sure if I were to go, I would find bits that I love about it. I really do want to visit the Louvre.....that would be my sole reason to go I think. But like you, I will not go in the crowded summer season, that is for sure!
