Glad that you have found a new way to travel. I used to enjoy AirBnB but became annoyed at how they have taken over cities and locals can't afford to live in them anymore. When an Airbnb is located inside a house, as it was originally intended, it's fine. But when it is a whole apartment that some local family could be living in, I have a problem with it. You are right, though, it is a much better experience than a hotel.
