I Accidentally Took a Week Off Of Publishing On Medium
Celebrating 400 articles!
It’s hard to believe but this is the 400th article I have written on Medium!
When I started here almost one year ago now, I had no idea what I would write on this platform. I just knew that I hadn’t yet found my place in the online world.
All of that would change when I joined Medium.
It was the medicine that I didn’t even know that I needed. A place where I could share my stories without fear of judgment. A place to learn and be inspired. A place where I could finally be who I was truly meant to be.
On Monday I received a rather large sum of money into my bank account from Stripe. It was my December Medium earnings which included a payment from my first viral article.
It is enough money for us to live for 2–3 months without worrying about money if we spend it right. So it has allowed me some time to take a step back and look at the things that I am doing online that are working, and really evaluate the things that are not.
Without realizing it, this money has allowed me to relax.
I didn’t mean for it to happen, it just did. It seems as though I haven’t published…
