I believe that the reason alot of the old writers aren't making the money they once did, is that Medium is rewarding writers for engagement in these days. Maybe that is the 'algorithm change' that they are all complaining about. But I can guarantee you that most of them don't read other articles. I noticed that they sure don't reply to comments. So that in itself is something to note. Either way, the more of them that go, the better I say. I'm tired of the negativity and them screaming from the rooftops that Medium sucks and is dying. They really are full of themselves.
