I can so relate with your struggles here Becca. I didn't have a normal childhood either. My parents took me traveling all over the place and I also had to tone back what I talked about and almost pretend like my travels never happened in order to fit in with my peers. Unfortunately that also lead to me not being my authentic self later in life and I tended to hide my traveling and after moving to a whole new town people had no idea how much I had seen of the world because I feared being judged if I told anyone. When I finally broke out of my shell, I sold everything to travel full-time. People in my town were shocked and had no idea why I needed to travel so much. But they also had no idea of my past.
