I know full well the language is Arabic because my partner speaks Arabic. He even learned some of the Egyptian dialect while there. I stated “Egyptian” to make it easy for the readers to understand that they were speaking in their local language. To judge a person based solely on this on indiscretion is pretty ignorant as well. Also we were in a village in Uganda where people were actually starving, ie. they were so hungry they couldn’t even get out of bed. Thankfully we were able to help
Them get food for a few weeks. These people never once treated us like the Egyptians did and I can assure you that the Egyptians that we encountered were surely not starving or they wouldn’t have been able to chase us down the streets. Have you been to Egypt? I’d love to hear your experiences.
