I struggle with this a lot. I really do want to write a book, but as you say, what is the point these days? It seems that everyone is trying to write books that don't sell when we have this glorious platform at our fingertips to make money at. It's a daily wrestle and it makes me feel stuck, not knowing what to do next. But I will keep writing on Medium, that is for sure.
