I think admitting that we are causing climate change causes people to recoil in fear because they don't want to give up their creature comforts or change anything about their habits. I do think that governments have exploited the issue and the 'carbon tax' doesn't do much to mitigate any of the problems we are creating. As long as the rich keep getting richer, nothing will improve. But one day, we will all be forced to and there will be a day of reckoning. Personally, I doubt I'll be here to see it, but I will see a lot of suffering along the way, I'm sure.
