I tried Vocal for a bit. I wrote about 10 articles that were copied from Medium. All got accepted though one had some sort of link error that I had to fix. They gave me 3 $5 bonuses for having a popular article, $5 after writing 5 articles and $10 for writing 10 articles. However, my balance now sits at just over $25 and I can't withdraw it until it reaches $35. So I guess I will keep plugging along in hopes to reach that threshold at least. In 4 months, though, the money earned from my actual reads is just 58 cents. So certainly not the same as Medium that way. But I will keep at it.
