Is It Possible To Private Message Other Medium Members?
YES! It is!
I don’t know. Sometimes it just takes me a while to catch on to things.
I had obviously known that publications can private message me because they do so when I submit articles. But I didn’t know how to private message other authors, and for some reason, I didn’t take the time to look too far into it. But now, thanks to Jason Edmunds messaging me through one of my comments, I finally figured it out.

It’s so easy that it is kind of ridiculous actually and I can’t believe that I didn’t figure it out sooner.
I will use Jason’s article as an example since he was the one who enlightened me.
You know how when you highlight somebodies article and it gives you the options to leave a comment, post to Twitter, or just plain ol’ highlight. Well, there is also a little lock icon there as well. I never noticed it.
When you click on that lock icon, the following private note box pops up:
