Hugh Laurie Says That Now Is the Time
“Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.”
This is my 250th story on Medium.
If you would have told me on January 31, 2022, when I submitted my first article, that I would write 250 stories on this platform, there is no way that I would have believed you.
I truly didn’t think I had that much to say.
But here we are, almost 6 months down the road. I have not run out of things to write about and I really don’t see an end in sight either.
I like High Laurie’s quote above. It is simple, yet profound. How many of us put things off until tomorrow, when they can be done today?
It’s true what he says, now is as good a time as any.
When I look back at these almost 5 years of full-time travel I can see now that we weren’t ready to do this. We didn’t have all of our ducks in a row to do with money, jobs, and income.
But we did it anyway.
And I won’t lie, we have struggled to get a foothold in the online world. It’s not easy reinventing yourself, to begin with, but doing it from behind a computer screen is a different…
