Oh boy Matthew, I can sure feel for you here. We spent about 2 months in Chefchaouen and those roads up there are no joke in the daytime, let alone at night. The place we stayed thankfully had all the amenities when we arrived at dusk one evening, but it was absolutely freezing cold inside with no central heating. We only had a small heater in our bedroom. Consequently, we were a bit miserable even though we had just flown there from Canada in the winter. Lol. Hope you found a new place to stay!
