Oh Sonia, I'm so sorry to hear about our injury! I sailed on a tall ship that was a school when I was 17/18, it was an amazing trip. I guess it's better you did it even though you couldn't fully enjoy it like you would have wanted. But, yeah, those nights of nothingness while bobbing around in the black sea are pure magic. Happy you got to experience that. 30 years later and it's still my favorite memory from the trip.
