One Thousand Followers and Almost 200 Stories

And I still feel like I am just getting started!

My Medium journey began mid-January this year, 2022. I had never heard of Medium and had no idea that platforms like this even existed, where I could not only share my writing with the world but get paid to do it.

It was an inspirational moment, and after 2 weeks of reading other people's articles and studying the type of content on here (note: ANYTHING GOES), I realized that it would be a good place for me to share my stories.

I had struggled with writing on blogs for a few years, and each time I would just get put off from bothering. I’m pretty sure that it was the whole trying to learn SEO, and trying to get our website viewed by the world, that exhausted me the most.

But with Medium's built-in audience, and their wonderful ranking on google, I have been able to just get down to the business of what I enjoy the most, writing.

Of course, I have said it before, and many others do as well, but the people on Medium are what make all the difference. Together we support and uplift each other, read each other's articles, clap, comment, and engage.
