Patreon, Ko-fi, or Buy Me A Coffee?

I have been curious about how creators on Medium are earning money through these three platforms.

Do you care to indulge me?

I see many people on Medium that have a Ko-fi or Buy Me A Coffee link at the bottom of their articles, and I am curious about a few things.

1. Do people actually tip you there?
2. How much extra work is it?
3. Do you post your articles on there also, or just the links?

I have considered getting one of these setup, but I worry about adding yet another social media platform to my docket.

I have had a Patreon account set up for our Artistic Voyages brand since 2018, and it has grown very slowly.

Tediously slow!

We are so grateful to the people that have been supporting us on there, but with just 19 patrons, sometimes my efforts feel that they are in vain. Of course, I’m not complaining, as we are very appreciative of the money that we earn through that platform, but it would be nice to be able to grow it further.

So, I guess I’m looking for advice on that also.
