Sharing a Few Of My Favorite Articles

Of course, as writers, we all have our favorite articles that we write. Some, we just know, are better than others. Whether it just flowed from your fingertips easier, or whether you captured a certain mood, you just know when you feel like you have really expressed what you are trying to say well.
Sometimes the article is trying to spread a certain message, or maybe you are trying to capture a moment in time. Whatever the reason is, it is usually easy to discern the ones we think are REALLY good, from the ones that are just okay.
Of course, we are also our own worst critics, but I digress. I certainly know when I have done my writing justice, and it doesn’t happen all the time, sadly.
While reading Robert Knight’s recent article:
I realized that I have an article that has a similar slant, so I shared it with him in the comments, thinking that he might find it interesting. It’s actually one of my most told verbal stories, and I share it with many people that I meet along our travels.
This experience had a profound impact on my life, and I do believe is a large part of why I refuse to live anything but a fulfilling life these days.

As I re-read this piece, I realized that while it isn’t written perfectly, it is certainly one of my favorites. I also realized that I have a handful of others that I am also very proud of. As I near 200 published articles, I thought it might be nice to go back and cherry-pick what I deem to be the best and place them in a tidy little article.
