Why Is It Harder For 40-Year-Olds To Gain a Following Than It Is For 20-Year-Olds?
Please tell me that you are as annoyed as I am!
I purposefully chose the above image for this article because it accurately represents how I use emojis:)
Are you one of the plus 40’s, or maybe 50’s……..60’s (?) that, like me, still uses this silly ‘old fashioned’ way of exhibiting our emotions?
I can’t help it. My fingers just do it and I have no control over it.
However, I do believe that it accurately lumps us into an old age bracket that the youngsters rightfully roll their millennial eyeballs at.
I mean “Who even does that any more? Like REALLY!”
It’s an annoying reality. We 40+-year-olds really do not have social media figured out. I mean, it seems like we are doing everything right. We watch the videos from the youngsters, trying desperately to teach us the ways.
But nothing seems to work.
Is it our age? Can our potential followers see that we are just old fuddy-duddies that don’t have a clue in life?
Maybe they just don't want to be a part of our depressing charade.
