Taylor Swift Is Killing It
She is much more than just a massive pop star!
Well, here we are. This is a MAJOR departure from things that I normally write about. You are probably thinking ‘geez Jill, what does Taylor Swift have to do with travel?’ The answer is not much at all. But I do frequently write inspirational and motivational stories, and I think Taylor Swift’s story does qualify in that genre.
I’m sure most people have at least heard the name, Taylor Swift. When her last album ‘Midnights’ dropped (on my birthday of all days!) her songs occupied the top 10 hits charts for weeks! In fact, Wikipedia claims that
With 190 chart entries on the Billboard Hot 100 (including 9 number-ones and 40 top-tens), Swift is the female artist with the most charted songs in the United States.
Not bad for an artist that just turned 33.
So What Makes Taylor Swift Great?
I got onto the Taylor Swift bandwagon back when she sang Love Story, You Belong With Me, and a few other hits of that era. I guess these were all from her ‘Fearless’ album which was her second album released in 2008. I’m a top 40 gal, so when she had hits, I would hear them on the radio and I didn’t pay her…
