Thanks for sharing your experience, Paul. My partner and I spent 6 weeks in Maun, Botswana and heard from many of the locals that Johannesburg is a bit dangerous. All in all, we heard from many in Southern Africa that South Africa was very dangerous to visit. Glad to hear that you were okay there, but interesting to learn of the disparities. I hope things improve for them, some way, some how.
