We are so lucky! We have arrived at the Entebbe Zoo in Uganda!

For months we have been in discussions through email with one of the management here to help them spread the message of conservation to schools around the country through art. It sounds like we may be painting murals of animals and wildlife in many of the schools in the not-so-distant future!

The Entebbe Zoo is owned by the UWEC — Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre. All of the animals that are in the zoo have been rescued from the wild. Some animals lost their mothers to poachers, and others were injured. Some get rehabilitated and sent back. But the main goal of the Zoo is to educate the general population on all things about wildlife conservation.

The zoo is known to be one of the best in the world for the humane ways that they care for the animals.
