Things I Learned At Medium Day!
What a wonderful gift to us all.
I participated as an observer in Medium Day yesterday. For those that are unaware, Medium Day was a full-day online conference where any Medium writer could host a session or a presentation about a particular topic. I was mostly excited to see some of my favorite authors in person, to get a better sense of who they are.
Although I was a little confused and didn’t get to attend some of the presentations that I originally had planned to (my laptop was purchased in Africa and it seems to be stuck in that time zone which complicates things a lot), I was able to rewatch the recordings which was good enough. I also stumbled upon a few other presentations that really got me excited.
Here are some of the highlights that I enjoyed the most.
Roz Warren, Writing Coach had two sessions that I really enjoyed. As you can see, she is a writing coach so the information that she presented was invaluable.
From her article:
Roz Warren Tells You Why Your Title Sucks, Why Your Introduction is Too Damn Long, Why You Need to Shape and Structure Your Work and Why Your Medium Masterpieces aren’t Getting Boosted will take place at 2 PM — 2:30 PM ET.
