This is hilarious! We had a similar experience but with a crazy guide at the mayan ruins in Palenque. He had all sorts of crazy hairbrained thoughts about the ancient mayans. When recaling our experience to a friend of ours in Guatemala, he told us he had the same guy as a guide! When we shared photos, we knew for sure. The world works in mysterious ways!
