This is so horrifying! I totally understand where you are coming from here. I have had the opportunity to try and explain "school shootings" to a couple of our hosts here in Africa and it is a concept that they can't even comprehend. This DOES NOT happen anywhere else in the world. You are right, the US is broken. But I for one can't even begin to try and figure out how you can put it back together. It's just sad.
