This is such a beautiful account of a wonderful experience, Brina. The kindness of strangers is certainly an aspect of travel that is necessary for us to have an enjoyable experience. You got to peek inside their culture in way that not many others do. Such a treasure. And I love that you recognized her bravery in a culture where women have to work 10 times harder to step outside of the box of what is normal.
