Unfortunately the women in Uganda are subject to getting pregnant as many times as possible as the men refuse condoms, the women don't like birth control pills, and the men also 'can't manage' to pull out in time. This was a discussion I had with a young lady that couldn't figure out how my husband and I could be travelling together and I don't get pregnant repeatedly. She also told me that many women now don't want the babies that they have, especially when they are getting up into the 6 or 7 bracket. Some simply abandon their families and run away. A very sad state of affairs.

We spent 7 months in Uganda last year, and are heading back there in the next few days as we travel back from Tanzania. It's a beautiful country, but man there is a lot of suffering!
