Who’s Got The Time?
Is there even time for what is important anymore?
We all remember, the White Rabbit, in the original Alice In Wonderland movie, frantically running around. “Time, time. Who’s got the time?” He would yell while looking at his pocket watch and panicking because he was late. For what, we were never entirely sure. Maybe he wasn’t even sure. But one thing was clear, he was very stressed out about it.
Amazing to think that this film was made back in 1951, and the book was written many years before that. Back then, I feel that most people had lots of time. Life seemed to be simpler in those days. Less production and technology must have meant that people had more time on their hands.
These days, though, we all know the pressures of time. There never seems to be enough time in the day to accomplish what we think we need to accomplish. Society seems to be accelerating, things have to be produced faster and faster. Deadlines get shorter and shorter, and the ever-present push to get better, and do better, is constant.
But what if I told you that it doesn’t have to be that way?
