Writers Supporting Other Writers — Another Reason That Medium Is So Great
I am so grateful to be supported by other writers!
Being new on this platform, I am still learning the ins and outs and finding my groove. But I’m not so new that I don’t see how amazing this supportive community is.
In just 8 weeks of joining Medium and only 6 weeks of writing, I have already made so many virtual friends here on the platform whose writing inspires and uplifts me constantly.
I am also amazed at the kindred spirits that exist when I read their articles and feel like I could have written them word for word!
Recently my writing was featured in 2 different articles, and I would love to give a shoutout to these ladies and thank them for sharing my writing with others. This is truly how we can help lift up and support each other, and they have inspired me to also start sharing articles that I enjoy and find inspiring so that I can pay the kindness forward to others.
First of all, before I even felt like anyone was reading my articles, Bernie Pullen shared my article in her piece that is attached below. She probably doesn’t know this, but it was the first time I had submitted something to a publication (New Writers Welcome), and I was as nervous as all get out.
