Yeah, we always get sim cards and buy data. Then my phone becomes our hotspot. Here in Uganda it is $1 for a sim card and we are now paying about $20 for 44GB of data! So really, it's about $30 per month or so. Plus Uganda has been expensive for data compared to other countries in Africa! Cell phone packages are pretty cheap around the world, but Canada is brutally expensive!
